There has been some question about the pants, shirts, etc. from Mr.
Howard, and the connection with Peter Botwright. I believe I can
clear things up. Mr. Howard worked for Bermans and Nathen and his
shop did the pants, contracted out the shirt to Mr. Dometakis, and
presumably had his shop make duplicates, fitted the straps to the bags
used, and it was Bermans and Nathen, through Mr. Howard, who
contracted the jacket out to Peter Botwright and Leather
Concessionaires (now Wested Leather). This is how Peter knows Mr.
Howard and Peter was kind enough, seeing the interest level and
success selling the jackets, to inform Mr. Howard of this forum and
our interest in obtaining the shirts and pants. This, I assume, was
Peter's intent in saying he would be supplying the pants-I am sure he
probably just felt that Mr. Howard would be best suited to tackle the
job if he was interested. I am sure that Peter will not be offering
competition to Mr. Howard's pants. This is the hubub as I know it,
from emails with Mr. Howard and Peter. Hope this helps. If I am
