: I think the blood is intentional. In Saving Private Ryan, it creates more of a "you are there" ambience, as with other movies. As for LC, I'm not fully sure. It may have splattered on the camera by mistake, but they later choose to keep it in. I guess it just adds to the scene, either way.

: I think so too. It certainly impressed upon me the power and velocity of that Luger round as it passed through all three German soldiers. It kind of added a little "something" to Indy's surprise. -MP
