Lands' End has confirmed that they are "discontinuing the Willis & Geiger line," but the rep said they are keeping the name, might use it in the future.
W&G's quality was perhaps too good; most folks weren't willing to pay their prices for safari gear.
I still have some relics of Banana Republic's original clothing line, back when the Zeiglers owned it and offered similar clothing--prices more reasonable and quality still good.
Travelsmith is also a Bay Area outfit--they started out selling a lot of Ex Officio and other brands, then moved into private label to reduce some costs. I've found their products to offer good value--you get what you pay for. (W&G stuff was about 30-50% more in price.) Norm Thompson (mail order out of Oregon) sometimes offers jackets, hats etecetera, but less of it now--they seem to be moving to the product line that they have in their "Early Winters" line, with ski gear, Gen-X, etc.
You can call Lands' End and ask where the "Lands End Inlet" stores are located--those are their outlet stores and will probably get the remainders of the W&G goods.
