Hey, thats even new to me :)
But there is another thing I always wanted to try: My Sony 720 (plays PAL and NTSC as PAL60) can be set to produce a NTSC output signal. I have bever tried this feature because my TV is of course a PAL TV but if it really works this would be so far the cheapest way to play PAL tapes on NTSC screens. Just import an European VCR...
