: Well, difficult question...

: I had a very dark brown leather strap fitted to my bag at a saddlery
: nearby. In the movies the shoulder bag is somewhat below the belt of
: Indy. Im about as tall as Harrison Ford (6ft.) and the strap needs to
: be 130cm long and 2cm wide. I don't know much about the original
: buckle but as far as I know it's a shining metal buckle. As far as I
: know LucasFilm had the leather strap fitted at Burmans and Nathans.
: Does anyone know how to contact these guys???

: Regards,

Max, Thanks for the information. I think there are a couple leather shops or shoe leather repair shops nearby that I can have a strap custom made. I have the basic idea on the style of the strap, as well as estimates on the length and width from photos. I plan on taking those photos in for reference if I need to. The measurements I have come up with are very similar to your suggestions. I was also kind of hoping someone might have some official measurements though.

By the way there is information on how to contact Burmans and Nathans now called Angels and Burmans at http://www.magna.com.au/~jcmaley/shoppe.html
However from what I have heard they are not very helpful for those outside the Entertainment buisness.

Thanks agian

Dan
