No, I've never run across that tidbit of information. If that were the case, I wonder if they were just stuck with five different directions for one storyline, or five stories to choose from? If five to choose from, then there would be still several possibilities for additional movies, and not the drivel we've heard that there was/wasn't any scripts in consideration.
