If you are hesitant about your career prospects with a major in film, then hedge your bets and double major in something more marketable, say Film and....Computer Science. Can't go wrong with a CS major (unless you hate it). (And who knows, You might end up working for LucasFilm programming special effects for Star Wars movies or maybe even the next Indiana Jones Film!)
