The cloest person that I can find that could be a real life Indiana JOnes Is a person called Hiram Bingham a explorer adventurer with a religos background that liked hats and had a jacket that looks more like a cross between indy;s and a safri jacket. He was the discover of Machu Picchu Peru in 1911. He was the husband of a rich wife who paid for his triups to South America.
