The whip they show in the book is the one used by Indy in the lion's car of the circus train from Last Crusade. I think it's maybe still D. Morgan's, not too sure though. But certainly it is very different from "grown-up" Indy's.

I was dissapointed that they never showed close-ups of Indy's gear (no rude jokes please!). They had a few great pics of Han Solo's belt & holster etc.
