You can't use Star Wars figs as good comparison. The release of the Special Eds created a new market - in addition to the old collectiables. The new stuff was for new fans - "old" fans will always buy up what's out there at whatever price. However, prices of old stuff did dip slightly - but not a continual decline. Who agress that the prices charged where a rip-off anyway? Prices should have been based on the availability or rarity. Most cases dealers had bucket-loads of old stuff but still charge the "rare" prices.

Sorry folks - had to get that out my system. Indy fans are a diff area. I think most just would like an Indy figure. Wouldnt matter if was an original or new release. And again the proce of old stuff would dip. But who would love to see a Desert Convoy Truck done up with the detail of the new Star Wars vehicles. i know I would!
