: I always refer to Last Crusade as one of the last "Great" movie
: experiences I had. I remember going to see it opening night and it
: was perfect. The place was packed and everyone laughed and cheered
: the entire time! I remember at the scene where Indy puts the flagpole
: through the nazi motorcycle's wheel to get rid of him, that the whole
: place went nuts clapping! It was like that the whole time, too. They
: were selling stuff outside the theatre and I got a poster, which I still
: have, as mint as the night I got it.

: I think people call that year the Summer of Sequels, due to the number of
: franchises that were out there. Lethal Weapon 2, Ghostbusters 2, Star
: Trek 5, Licence to Kill, as well as the first Batman. My favorite though,
: was definitely Last Crusade and I went again and again. I couldn't believe
: they had actually pulled it off again.

: It's funny too, considering all the thought I put into where to go see
: Phantom Menace. You know, where's the biggest screen, the best sound system,
: etc. After all, I didn't even think about that stuff back then, I just went
: and it was magic.

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! I remember it was like that for both Last Crusade and for Batman. And the enthusiasm seemed to be genuine among everyone there - it definitely was for me!
