Indiana Jones and the Inseperable(Or however you spell it) Whip

Did you notice Indy sometimes loses his whip but he still has it? Well here is two good examples.

#1: On Raiders, when Belloq takes away the Golden Monkey Idol aka The Golden Idol of Fertility, he also takes Indys whip. But after he is running he still has it.

#2: On Last Crusade, when Dad is on the wheel of the tank and Indy grabs his ankle with the whip, Sallah takes him away right? But you can still see the whip on his ankle, but when Indy is climbing up the mountain he has it on his whip holder.(No excuse for this)
