I recently returned from a field job in Wyoming near a desolate god-forsaken place known as Hell's Half Acre. In short, I was chased by a bobcat, nearly shot at by an angry Spaniard, tumbled down a steep butte and blew out both my knees, walked countless miles in treacherous badlands in painful hail and winds that would blow any STAPLED fedora off your head taking your scalp with it, ripped my hand open on a barbed-wire fence, walked many times through a group of irritated 2-ton bulls, and last but not least was literally poisoned by a Chinese woman. We did find some nice sites though. All this in 5 days and I didn't even have to leave the country.

Now all I need to experience is that "Fortune and Glory" everyone's been talking about!
