Mola Ram, I Presume?

In response to my recent post, ("How did Indy know Mola Ram by name?"), thanks to all who replied. It does make sense that Indy got the name from the chanting. At the same time, however, perhaps Indy was just making an assumption the entire time. If you think about it, no one else ever called him Mola Ram.

In fact, maybe his name was something like Louis or Daniel, and in lieu of the constant confusion that was going on in the temple, a cordial introduction was never arrived upon. Perhaps the guards, upon hearing Indy, simply shrugged it off in a very nonchalant manner, as if to say, "Hmm, must be old friends."
