Would Indy wear the same gear in Indy IV if it's set later?

If the movie is to be set in the period as rumoured, would Indy really wear the same gear? It's bordering on the demise of that style, although there have been other adventure movies set in the 50s were costumes were similar to Indy's (see Charlton Heston in that Inca gold movie - what's it called?).

Only thing I thought of was that if he were semi-retired, perhaps he would dig out the old hat and jacket "one more time", so to speak. My heart wants to see the same outfit though.

But would it really be too impracticle for the new film to be set in the same period as the trilogy? I mean they can do a brill job with make-up (and I'm not stating categorically that HF needs it) and stunt-doubles are always there too for those rough moments. Clint Eastwood and other "older" actors are still making action movies with no problems, as is Ford himself (but not playing "younger" characters).

Anyone have any comments, please?

Regards,
Brian
