For my own enjoyment, I created a character about 2 and a half years ago that fits this criteria!! He is an Australian pilot named "Ozzie" Gamble. He is a skilled madical doctor and used to be with the Flying Doctor Service. He keeps a variety of native weapons at his disposal, but usually uses a boomarang or bolo. He is mostly attired in jungle khackis and an Aussie hat (you know the kind; flipped up on one side). He doesn't usually pursue adventures, they usually find him as he takes passengers and cargo to various destinations. He is usually thrust inti impossible situations and must get out of them! He has an occasional sidekick "Roo", and these adventures take place in the early part of the twentieth century. Well, that all I have.
