About the submarine goof in Raiders ...... (can be interesting)

I received the Marvel Comic books about the Indy trilogy today (eBay) and noticed something in the Raiders comic book.
There are many scenes from the movie not in the comic book but it shows 1 important thing that we don't see in the movie and also was 1 of the biggest topics in this Forum. (I'm talking about the submarine goof, btw)

After we see the german soldier commanded to submerge the sub, Indy grabbed the periscope (the main hatch was already under water) and he fasted himself with his whip to it, and hoping that the scope wouldn't go under, and it didn't. (That couldn't be very healthy.)

That's what I saw in the comic book.
