It depends if they have access to a print of the film. Also, just because it's on the big screen doesn't mean it's good, but you never know. There are some old degraded 35mm prints out there of poor quality. On the other hand, I have heard rumors that some 70mm blowups were made and that those are THE ones to see, but not many theaters can show 70mm anymore.
