Your boyfriend would have great results maintaing an Indy "five o'clock"
shadow look by using the sideburn trimmer of an electric shaver. I
have one made my Panasonic and use the trimmer every morning. It gives
me the five o'clock shadow all day (of course it my beard is a bit
heavier by the evening, but still looks great). I like the look and
have worn it for many years.
