Humphrey Bogart! Hands down, he would be the only good one who would play Indy. Harrison Ford, as most of you should know, is very much the Humphrey Bogart of the last quarter-century. Just take a look at any interview with Steven Spielberg talking about Harrison and Indy.

And most interestingly of all, in a 1994 interview with Spielberg on Larry King Live, Spielberg said he would have cast Humphrey Bogart in a second if he were alive. Spielberg was very enthusiastic about that.
