You mean that you don't travel with your laptop? Those orientation programs can get very boring, especially for parents. The Forum would give you something to do when the Dean says, "Well, that's all we have planned for the parents until the guided tour of the petunia gardens at 3 PM".

PS: Which college? Mine is at the College of Charleston.
