: - Why are you an Indy fan?
Indy, and all the other heroes, are like good friends. But they also deal with the world in a way that we all secretly wish we could. Indy (Esp. the movie hero...not so much the literary one) is confident and decisive. The literary Jones is occasionally foppish, but Ford's Indy sees a problem, and deals with it. His quick thinking and decisive action make him an ideal heroic figure.

: - What makes the myth behind heros?
The myth of these heroes comes not so much from what we read or see them do, but from the belief that we the fans have that there are so many more things about them we don't know. So we wait breathlessly for the next movie, novel or even fan fic adventure.

: - What other heros/non-heros/stories beside Indy do you like.
Unquestionably, Dirk Pitt adventures by Clive Cussler. Also James Bond, both movies and the Ian Fleming novels (not so much the John Gardner and esp. not the Raymond Benson) Other significant works of fiction for me include almost anything by Stephen R. Donaldson, Umberto Eco's Foucalt's Pendulum, and Clive Barker's Weaveworld.

: - Are there any parallels between your prefered fictional charcters.
See the first answer. Decisiveness and confidence.

: - What are your other hobbies?
Writing, adventure racing, surfing, snowboarding
