Bag strap confusion...

Hello:
Once and for all can someone solve a problem for me? I need to know if Indy's satchel hangs on the left side or right side of his body. All the reference material I have shows it on his right side, but that can't be correct. It's possible my photos are reversed because in `Last Crusade' it appears to be on his left side (shot from behind as he approaches the first trial in the Grail temple) I know that it's on the same side as his whip, but I've thought about it so much I've thrown myself into confusion. Please someone clear this up for me (?)
