Slightly off topic but...

I read tonight on the "Ain't It Cool News" site that there are plans to make a movie about Doc Savage starring Arnold Swarzeneggar. Harry Knowles, the guy who runs AICN, an Indy fan himself, seemed to think this movie would kick Indy's ass (not a possibility IMHO) However, his discription of the story of Doc Savage sounded like it could be something Indyfans might enjoy.
Have any of you read any of the Doc Savage books (I gather there's over a hundred of them) and are they worth reading.
I remember seeing the movie with Ron Ely and was not impressed but I'd like to know if any of you think the books are worth seeking out.
