I was watching Raiders yet another time when I think I noticed a very serious mistake. Indy is talking to the old Hebrew guy that can read the markings of the head piece of Ra. He says that the Staff must be 6 kadam(sp) high. Indy says, "...or 72 inches..." Then we figure out Indy has to take back one Kadam which is 12 inches.
Later in the movie we see Jones holding the 60 inch(5 foot) pole up. It is a couple inches taller then Indy! I know Indy can't be shorter then 5 feet! Just a small uncalled for mistake no one has noticed, I think.
