Huh? Not sure what you're saying. Remy came close to dying during the Somme, but survived only to be sent to the fron yet again. he and Indy escaped the horrors of Europe by transferring into intelligence (seen in Attack of the Hawkmen) and are eventually transferred to Africa, only to face plague and disease. Both Indy and Remy are transferred back to Europe for the war's end, but their freindship does not last long. After a falling out, they depart company (Treaure of the Peacock's Eye).
