It seems that Star Wars will be on DVD this Christmas after all. The DVDfile website spoke with Lucasfilm representatives recently to inquire about Lucas' apparent non-support of the format, when they were told that not only does Lucas support DVD, but he's planning on issuing Star Wars on DVD for the holiday season. No word yet on what sort of features will be available on the disc. As a matter of fact, it was not revealed which Star Wars movie(s) will hit stores come Christmas time, just that a Star Wars DVD would be there. Meanwhile, there are still no plans as yet for the Indiana Jones movies to be released in the format.

This is blatantly ripped from www.cinescape.com for all you lazy surfers. If star wars is coming, Indy should be soon to follow. :)
