Connery in The Rock proves the point!

If Sean Connery pulled off a pretty action-oriented role in The Rock, why can't Harrison Ford still play Indy? Granted, Harrison won't be able to jump around as much as he did in the other Indy movies (10+ years does that to people, I guess), but I believe that Sean Connery was older when he starred in The Rock that Harrison Ford is now.

Just a thought. Sorry about the rambling! :)
