The socks were black socks in the "Calypso" line model #440 sold by Tufnel & Smalls, a haberdasherie on High St. in London. The socks are a 60% wool, 40% cotton blend. Tufnel & Smalls has since folded but you can still get them from Michael Crowley Clothiers of Nassau St. in London for £20 plus £15 shipping to the USA. They are a great pair of socks!
