For me, it has to be the scene in Raiders right after the Flying Wing fight scene. Indy, Marion, and Sallah are in the tent. Indy dabs the blood off his face with a rag. Sallah tells Indy the Ark is being loaded on a truck bound for Cairo, and Indy replies, "Truck? What truck?" as he pounds his rag-covered fist into his other hand. The scene shows that he is not a superhero but rather very vulnerable. He bleeds and hurts like the rest of us. But he is DETERMINED, suicidally determined and reckless I think.
