Well, I have mixed feelings about the name change on the box (yours is a legitimate reason, though), but I hope that they don't change it in the actual opening credits of the movie.

One of the reasons is that the name "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" doesn't make much sense since Indy himself is one of the raiders of the Lost Ark! So in essence, the new title is a grammatical error (or whatever the name of that type of error is)! :)
