I agree (and am a die hard Clancy fan) but I thought that they were all a fair amount disapointing when compared to the books. Alec Baldwin (in my mind) IS Jack Ryan, and I don't even like Baldwin (as a person, dont much care for his brothers either, though I don't know much about them). As much as I like the books I would way rather see another Indy movie. I would be totatly amazed if ANYONE were to ever make a movie of Clancy's books that even compared with the books itself.

Maybe we could start some kind of online petition, stating that we don't care to see another Clancy movie, and would way rather see Ford as Indy again? Just a thought but hey if somebody were to realy push it we might get something to happen. I might even be able to get a bunch of the guys at alt.books.tom-clancy to sign it (most of them hate the movies) and maybe (just maybe) we could get Paramount's attention.
