: (As many of you may know by now, I like controversial titles on my postings for shock value.) Don't get me wrong. I absolutely loved Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games, but Clear and Present Danger was a huge disappointment compared to the book. Ford played too much of a fuddy-duddy in that movie. I know it's blasphemy to say it here, but I actually was disappointed when Alec Baldwin didn't continue with the series. I think he nailed Jack Ryan in the first one.
