There'a a little known cut scene where Indy, pursued by the hovitos, stops to change his socks!! This would have explained how the Hovitos nearly caught up with Indy at the riverbank. Also on the cutting room floor was the scene where Indy changes his boxers, so that the movie would not get an "R" rating!!
