: : : : : : In the very beginning of Raiders, in the temple, you can see that Indy is wearing white socks. But, then later on in Raiders, when Indy is hanging onto the plane and the Hovitos are shooting arrows and darts at him, the wind blows up Indy's pant leg and we can clearly see that he is wearing black socks.

: : : : : : So which is it?

: : : : : : Fellow Indiana Jones fan,
: : : : : : Indiana

: : : : Believe it or not, that WAS asked last year! I personally think we've definately crossed the line when it gets down that far (grins) Regards. Michaelson

: : You can also see that the socks are black when he is caught by Belloq sitting outside the Temple in Raiders. Even I draw the line at socks. I mean who really cares? Black Socks are black socks. No one really would notice. (Except us!)

: I understand he was wearing a jock strap woven from hemp. The guy who made them for the trilogy (he made a total of 48 which were worn by Mr. Ford and his stunt doubles) lives in Santa Monica. If you send him your measurements, he can get one to you in about 6 weeks. They cost $295.

No, actually that is the jock strap copy used by the stuntmen. The original worn by Harrison was made by Leeson and Poole Outfitters at 201 Grafton Street in Algate, England. They have them in stock- they are the "Winky" models and will set you back about 20 pounds each plus customs charges. Just cal 011 44 583 2939 and ask for Mr. Archibald Leech.

Cheers,
Abner
