Today I used a video camera and made my own bullwhip documentary
with different types of swings and cracking methods, as well as a few
target hits. And the sound is spectacular!!! Like Mr. Morgan says:
a very light wrist action will produce a nice CRACK! It doesn't take
a whole lot of force and the whip doesn't crack everytime you swing it
(contrary to popular belief) It's about 10 minutes long and I really
like watching it. Afterwards I showed the whip coiled up and freshly
oiled, sitting on my closet shelf. I have some travelling to do and
of course my Indy things must go with me. I'm going to visit the French
Quarter in New Orleans on Saturday (like Indy did in Hollow Earth).
Should be pretty cool. Bye fellow whip crackers!!!
