What I think would be a fantastic idea, is if you order a
Wested jacket in, say, your dad's size. It stands to reason,
genetically, that children often grow to duplicate their parents'
size. It would be great to have this jacket that you could grow INTO.
Yes, it may be a bit large, but you will spend your entire teenage
years wearing this jacket through whatever adventures you find
yourself in, and the jacket will become very personalized, trusty,
reliable and, in short, an old friend. I'm sure it will weather
nicely through years of use. I wish I had known about Wested when
I was 13. Believe me, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. I
just got mine last year. I too was broke, so I had to cash in almost
all of my savings bonds to afford it, but it was the best thing I
ever did. Look at it this way: why settle for anything less than
the original? Life is too short not to have what you want. (That
might sound highly materialistic, but it's true.) As soon as my
package from M.B.A. arrives, I will have the whole entire authentic
Indiana Jones outfit. It's taken three years of my life, and nearly
$2000 to do, but it was worth it. Take my advice and buy the Wested
Leather jacket, it's worth it. (and you will be the only kid in
your school with a jacket like that- guranteed.)
