Tom Clancy and Harrison Ford

It turns out that Tom Clancy wasn't too happy when Harrison Ford was chosen to take over the role of Jack Ryan in Patriot Games, the role Alec Baldwin in The Hunt For Red October two years earlier.

It was said that Tom Clancy has the greatest respect for Harrison Ford as an actor (and perhaps as a person)... he just thought that Ford was too old for the role.
