: : : I was wondering how some people have washed thier shoulder bags (I have heard that machine wahing is very bad) Any comments?

: : : Pull off the leather shoulder strap, and have the bag dry cleaned. This way you should have it for a loooong time. Trust me on this one. Forrestall

: Hi:
: I used a product called `Zero' and hand washed it...it worked pretty good considering that the name `Lt. Carter' was written in black magic marker on the front flap. I felt kind of guilty though - almost like I was washing away some history...sorta like renaming a beloved film. Hmm...
: Cheers,
: Sean

I wouldn't wash it at all. If it smells, just spray it with Febreeze. Or, try the dry cleaning. Even washing it by hand will fade the color.

Cheers,
Abner
