It really doesn't bother me, simply because it supposed to be a SPECIAL EDITION, right? The very name implies that it's not the original. I just hope that in the future, they make the originals, (as well as the original Star Wars movies), available again. I think that if they want to try a different presentation of the films, w/o a change of content, then it's okay. I wouldn't be able to understand, however, why they think no one would mind a complete, permanent change to the films.

Lucas needs to understand that this would be the equivalent of having The Treasure of Sierra Madre available only in a colorized format. Or what if all of Kurosawa's films were available only in dubbed versions? I think they don't realize that these films are to us, what those were to him and Spielberg.
