: Hi,

: No problem. I'll be glad to help you out.

: Lets say you want to post a picture named indyfan.gif
: the URL of the picture you want to post must be something like
: http://www.indyfan.com/indyfan.gif
: and not something like C:\MyDocuments\indyfan.gif
: with other words if you want to post on the web a picture that is on your hard drive you have to upload it first somewhere on the web
: Now, if you ask "what is upload?"
: the answer is
: upload is transfering a picture to the web
: it is like when you have a picture on your hard drive on C:\Pictures\indy.gif and you put it on
: C:\MyDocuments\indy.gif
: same thing with HTML documents, when you go to http://www.indyfan.com/index.html you see a web page
: how that web page got there?, the administrator of the site uploaded there
: the opposite is "download" which is tranferring from the web to your computer

: I hope I answered your question.

: Nick

: : I typed the location of the image as c:\Mydocuments\hats.jpg and no image was sent. What am I doing wrong? Thanks a million, Steve

I know I'm a real dummy but what should I type in the url box? I have an image on my C drive under My documents. The image name is "hats.jpg . What do I type in on the url box to upload? Thanks again, Steve
