Raiders Truck Info and model pics...

At last! Someone with a health interest in the truck. I've been looking to make a copy for some time now. The Raiders truck chassis was of the standard American WWII truck with the twin wheels at the back (can't recall the exact model). You can see this clearly in a lot of shots. Here's a similar model:

Secondly, if you're interested I found a web site that supplies military models and they had (as well as the above US truck), a Mercedes army fire truck from the 30s which has the whole front end very similar to the Raiders truck. Using parts from this would save on a lot of work on the Mercedes WW2 truck.
