The first time I saw "Raiders" I just waited for the scene that would show Marion turn evil. Kind of like Elsa did in "Last Crusade."
If you think about it, all through "Raiders" Marion's motivation seems suspicious. She acts at first like she hates Indy and like she's almost ready to give the headpiece to Toht.
Then later she seems to sidle up to Belloq in the tent. It's not until she and Indy are aboard the boat that she shows any real affection for Indy. So I thought at some point she'd join the other side.
