Alfred Hitchcock once said: "If I were to direct Cinderella, people would be looking for a body in the coach".

Anways, Spielberg does, in a sense, embodies Alfred Hitchcock and constantly puts the underlying theme in his movies just like Spielberg does (which is ordinary person put through extraordinary events). If Hitch directed Indy, it could possibly be almost the same since Hitch actually did direct an adventure movie (North by Northwest, which Last Crusade borrows from at times). But Hitch would probably add some more mystery to it, and he'd make Marion a blonde (Hitchcock loves blondes). He might emphasize voyeurism more (the scene where Belloq spies on Marion undressing would possibly be more emphasized, since Hitchcock liked to make us watch the movies as if we were a voyeur). Those are my thoughts. I hope I helped.
