I too have close-up pictures of the buttons in all three films and I can't see any real difference in the MBA shirt. Maybe I'm colour-blind and I don't know it, but if you have the Priemiere version of the `Raiders' script, take a look at the very first still in the back (the one of Indy posing with his gun drawn). The buttons on the shirt I received are that colour.
As for the bottom of the shirt, I'm not quite sure what you mean by `unfinished', but mine is hemmed/sticthed around the edges, just like the shirt in `Temple of Doom' in certain scenes where Indy's shirt is hanging out of his pants.
Did you by any chance IMMEDIATELY order the shirt when it became available? Just curious if there were changes made since...from your descriptions it sounds like you shirt is way off. I have no reason the believe the shirt is different than film versions - it is taken from the original patterns!
