I hope that the upcoming film can do justice to the books. Can the whole trilogy be done in only a two-hour movie, though?

Ralph Bakshi's attempt at The Lord of the Rings in 1979 (I think that was the year) literally covered only half of the trilogy, and didn't even include Tom Bambadil! :(

What do you both think?
