Isn't Dr. Grant's hat in Jurassic Park a fedora?

If not, when you look at it, Dr. Grant does bare a slight resemblance to Indy. Harrison Ford and Richard Dreyfuss were originally going to be in that role but Spielberg passed on that because he didn't want to spend big money on big stars. He wanted more money to the ground breaking visual effects! I wonder how Harrison would have been in that role (in fact, the two are so similar that in a variety review, it said that the Dr. Grant character comes off as a bland Indiana Jones).
