: Petersham is just a type of grosgrain. The confusing part is I have heard some say that it is like a sawtooth ribbon, being that it doesn't have the banded or stitched seam edges, and that seems to mead out but the ribbon from HJ does have banded edges, and in certain scenes from all three movies the ribbon does appear to have these edges, while in others, it appears to have a raw or sawtooth edge.

Really? Wow, I feel much better about going with grosgrain. It only cost me $1 at a local fabric store. I put it on my Nostalgia myself - it was really very easy. I think it looks great.
