That's me you're talking about---
With one small clarification. Although I am very critical of the Indy sequels, I don't dislike them.
In fact, I enjoy watching them immensely, and I think there are plenty of stories left to tell, with plenty of wonderful artifacts left to look for.
If i didn't believe that, I wouldn't have worked so hard on two Indiana Jones novels, or ultimately started my own adventure novel series to make up for what seems to be a lack of interest in the publishing world in continuing the literary adventures of Indiana Jones.
If anything, the criticism I give about the movies, and I think that a lot of people post here is designed, not so much as a gripe, but as a notice to film makers to stay on their toes. If enough people have a problem with a certain scene or story development, it certainly detracts from the enjoyment of the film and makes seeing the next one less of a sure thing.
