Well im back from MBA.All indygear people read this its REAL!! important.

Well i arrived in london at 3 and i managed to make it to mba at 5.20
10 minutes before they closed(so i could meet Noel before he went on
vacation).I found out some very important stuff.
No1.The ribbon on the hat was NOT a petersham.NOel told me that the
petersham looks very much like it but the original ribbon is not
a petersham and it is not for sale anymore.He dosent know what it was
but it was neither petersham or grosgrain(sp?).
No2.He brought out an origial jacket, shirt,and pants worn in Raiders.I even got to wear the jacket(and they gave me a polaroid
so ill poat the pic as soon as i get to a scanner.)NOw the lining was
neither satin acetate or cotten silesia.It was kinda like Un-shiney
satin but it was a rougher and seemingly cheaper material.
No3.There has been some dispute regarding the colour of the shirt and
buttons.I can assure you that the shirt offered by noel howard (and
the buttons) are EXACTLY the same as the original shirt he has from
Raiders.The shirt and pants offered are exact duplicates of the ones he has at MBA.
No4.For some strange reason he would not tell me who the original designer of the jacket was.He told me he was not at liberty to say.
He could only tell me that one of the desigers was an english woman living in the U.S. All very strange indeed.

Anyway everyone there was really friendly.When i got in the receptionist rang Noel at his office and he came out followed by two
more of his employees ( Matthew and helen i belive)Anyway i told him i wanted a shirt and web belt and they appeared with a selection of
shirts.I was lead into a fitting room where i was tended to by 3 people.I felt like some kinda celebrity or something.Anyway i eventually picked a shirt and belt.Noel then showed me some pics of
some other celebritys being fitted in the same room i was in (Sly Stallone, kevin costner etc)He then brought me in the back where i saw a range of costumes from various movies and a range of stuff for the Disney millenium parade.I then picked out a Mkv11 bag which is to be sent to me when the straps come in sometime in september.We then
chatted for a while about Harrison and indy and about various other
meaningless things.Anyway it was about 5.50 when i left which meant that all of the employees had worked overtime just for me!!I felt kinda guilty in a way,i mean the man was off to Crete the next day
and here he was chatting away to me like there was no tomorrow.
Anyway i left quite pleased with myself carrying my shirt web belt
and wested polaroid.
IT was an altogether pleasent experience indeed.Noel Howard is a real
nice guy.
On a seperate note im still waiting for my wested after 6 weeks
but Michealsons Broner was waiting for me when i arrived home so that
should keep me entertained for now.
